Some notes along the way...

• September 2003 - Finally got around to "finishing" my restoration R. Put the decals on it and called it done.
• August 2003 - Brandon Knapp and I decide to collaborate and make this a site for all two cylnder diesels.
• March, 2002 - Up to about 750 hits a day (40 Unique users), I never knew so many people liked the R...
• Febuary, 2002 - A good friend and fellow collector, Shorty Dear died. I made a trip a couple summers ago over to his place in Texas and spend the day hanging out and pulling parts. I will miss him.
• Febuary, 2002 - I got permission from J.R. Hobbs to reprint his R Bible. Quite the honor to even have him write back to me, not to mention getting his permission to use his work.
• January, 2002 - I added the Freqently Asked Questions section. Needs some work, but I have the initial stuff there.
• January, 2001 - I am slowly moving over some of my stuff from my smolkowski.com site to here. I was going to make this for all John Deere Two Cylinder Diesels, but that got too big even for me.
